SikuAmarok Mandolin Wind at Moonfrost WTD 'Rowan'

Rowan is a breeder re-home that we found out about through Malamute Rescue. At three years old she was returned to her breeders John and Shirley Powney at Sikuamarok in Preston as her owners circumstances meant that they could no longer keep her. After six months back with John and Shirley we were very pleased that they found us to be suitable to give her a forever home.

She is a strong minded girl, noisey and jam packed with character. Her loving nature knows no bounds, although she has her quirks that we have become accustomed to as this is what makes her - her. She is very much a Daddy's girl and can twist Kevin round her little pad with complete ease. We are amazed and thrilled with the dog that she has become since coming home with us in January 2009. We have managed to work with her in becoming a happy member of a mixed sex pack, not a small acheivement as this was her biggest hurdle to overcome and it is lovely to see her at ease with her family members and thriving on the company this provides. You can now find her bouncing and charging around playing with any of the other dogs and even willingly sharing toys. She has made us very proud at welcoming Myst and Izzy without hesitation, and she enjoys providing Izzy a willing pupil, with lessons from Aunty Rowan in wooing, standing on your back legs, leaping around and generally making sure everyone knows that you are there.
